Rev Sam has served at First Iconium for 4 years. He is a graduate of The University of Alabama and received his Master of Divinity and Master of Theology degrees from Emory University's Candler School of Theology. Rev Sam is the Minister of Community Engagement and Youth.

Rev. Willie Pierce
Rev. Pierce is a retired educator who has served First Iconium since 2007 as an associate minister. 

Rev. Gina Renee Sweetheart
Rev. Gina has been a part of the First Iconium Baptist Church Family for more than 18 years. She is a faithful servant with a heart that loves GOD and expresses the love of JESUS CHRIST to all. On March 19, 2000, Rev. Gina joined the ministerial team and has served on various ministries over the years in various capacities. 


Rev. Carol Howard
Rev. Carol S. Howard is a retired school teacher and has served as an associate minister at First Iconium for 5 years. 

Rev. Eugene C. Davenport
Rev. Davenport is a husband, father, and truck driver who loves people. He has been a part of the pastoral staff at First Iconium for one year and has been in ministry for over 16 years.

Elder John and Elder Patricia Harris are new members at First Iconium Baptist Church but faithfully serve on the pastoral staff. The elders have a burning passion and desire for the Lord and faithfully serve God's people.

Rev Heshimu J.D. Sparks, Associate Pastor

​Rev. Sparks is a retired pastor from Buffalo, NY and has served First Iconium for 9 years. Rev. Sparks serves as the Minister of Christian Education and teaches  Saturday Bible study. Rev Sparks graduated from the Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta.


Rev. Samuel Bennett

​​Rev Bennett has been the pastor of Heavenly Way Baptist Church for 11 years. Rev. Bennett is a firecracker and has served First Iconium for 16 years.

Rev. Wayne E. Vicks

Rev. Wayne E. Vicks is a former labor organizer for over fifteen years for five different labor unions. Rev Vicks has earned his religious studies degree from Beulah Heights, Atlanta Ga.Rev Vicks founded and pastored Greater Enhancement Ministry for four years and has been a member of the First Iconium family for over 30 years while serving in a number of teaching ministries.
