First
Iconium is evidence that God is alive and well. Under the guidance of
Rev. Timothy McDonald, III, God has blessed us and brought our congregation
a mighty long way. God has called us out of the darkness into His
marvelous light, and we have a spiritual obligation to share the light with
others.With all that is destructive and negative around us, there is a need for the presence and power of the Holy Spirit. Our calling is to be a church in the world, but not of the world; to seek out the lost, to uplift the downtrodden; to embrace the rejected; to comfort the lonely; and to live out the power of God's Love.
We express our love for Christ through our worship, our community service, our many ministries, and our prayer life. At First Iconium we bring people to the Lord, but we also take the Lord to people. We invite all who are looking for meaning, purpose, direction, and salvation to join us in our quest.
